A success Story.
María Quishpe was born in Otavalo. She went to Republica del Ecuador School in Otavalo. After school each day, she help her mother to weave rugs and make sweaters. Her mother taught Maria to become and excellent weaver.
After she graduated, María  worked as an assistant at Otavalo market. She was a good saleswoman. So she decided to open a stall at the market.
A few years later she got married. Her husband also worked at the market. One day, Maria and her husband Luis, decided to go to an International Trade Fair in Holland. With the help of other people, they made lost of things  to sell at the fair.
They went to Holland by plane. They were excited. It was their first time in a plane.
At the fair, their stand was very attractive. They sold lots of handicrafts, sweaters, shirts and blouses. Many people visited the stand. Maria and Luis were really happy.
Now they go back to Holland every year with more products from Ecuador.
