Hoy día les quiero dejar esta obra de teatro navideño "El Nacimiento de Jesús".

Esta obra puede ser representada por un grupo de niños pequeños que se sentirán contentos de experimentar la hermosa experiencia de actuar y mucho más recreando está hermosa historia bíblica.

Narrador: En aquellos tiempos, Augusto, el emperador Romano, ordenó que se debía hacer un censo para saber cuántas personas habían en su imperio.

Soldado romano: Todos los habitantes del imperio deben ir a la ciudad de origen de su familia para inscribirse en el censo.

Narrador: José y María emprendieron un largo viaje desde Nazaret hasta Belén, de donde venía la familia de José.

(Se abre el telón y aparecen José caminando tirando del burrito donde va montada María)

(Colocar de fondo la canción "El Burrito Sabanero)

José: María, ¿estás muy cansada?

María: Si, un poquito. El camino a Belén es muuuuy largo

(Se prende la luz y aparece el portal, con un ángel encima y llevando una estrella.)

José: ¡Qué bonito es nuestro hijo! ¿No es cierto, María?

María: Si, José. Ayúdame a taparlo, que tendrá frío.

(Entran los pastores)

(Se escucha el villancico "Vamos Pastores Vamos")

Narrador: Cerca del establo estaban unos pastores congelándose de noche mientras cuidaban sus rebaños.

Según contaban, aquella noche se les presentó un ángel y se asustaron

(Del lateral del escenario sale un ángel y les habla a los pastores.)

Ángel: Tranquilícense, no tengan miedo, que os traigo una buena noticia, que será para todo el mundo: hoy, en Belén, ha nacido el salvador, que es el Mesías, el Señor.

Lo reconocerán envuelto en pañales y acostado en un pesebre.

Josué: ¡Sí, lo sé!, pero como ustedes me visitan nada más que dos veces al año.

Martha: Papá tú no sabes las ocupaciones que todos tenemos, que si llevar a los niños a la escuela, preparar el desayuno, almuerzo, cena, más las largas horas en la oficina, y pare de contar.

Josué: Está bien hija, lo comprendo.

Narrador: Josué se entristece enseguida, y su hija sin prestarle atención alguna, se despide y se va rápidamente para sumergirse en los afanes cotidianos de la vida.

Acto II

(Josué se levanta de su silla e inmediatamente se dirige a la capilla situada dentro de aquel asilo)

Josué: ¡Señor!, ¿dime qué puedo hacer para sanar este corazón que se ha marchitado durante estos largos años?

Narrador: Mientras Josué realizaba esta plegaría, justo a las afueras de la capilla estaba una bella joven llamada Matilda, dedicada al servicio de ayuda desinteresada al prójimo, la cual al ver el llanto imparable del desventurado anciano, decide caminar presurosamente para consolarle con un fuerte y caluroso abrazo.

(Matilda mira fijamente a Josué)

Matilda: ¡No temas dice el Señor! Así que mí estimado, de ahora en adelante recuerda siempre estas palabras: Detrás de cada situación hay una bella bendición.

Josué: ¡Gracias bella joven!, por tan dulces y reconfortantes palabras.

(Josué inclina su cara y su dorso ante el Cristo en señal de agradecimiento a Dios)

Matilda: ¡Ven!, acompáñame a tomar un sabroso té de limón, es muy bueno para la digestión ¿sabías?

(Josué sonríe ante Matilda).

Josué: ¡Qué maravilla! no, no lo sabía, y  muchas gracias por considerar a este viejo que hasta los dientes le duelen para hablar (Risas).

(Matilda se ríe muy sutilmente)

Matilda: Tranquilo, si algo he aprendido es que debemos disfrutar cada momento de la vida.

Josué: ¡Así es jovencita!, y que sabía eres para tan corta edad.

(Matilda conversa durante largo rato con Josué)

Matilda: Y cuéntame Josué, ¿tienes hijos?

Josué: Sí, tres, pero los veo solo dos veces al año.

(Josué coloca rostro de tristeza)

Matilda: ¡No te preocupes!, de seguro pronto vendrán a compartir contigo.

Josué: ¡Dios te oiga bella joven!

Acto III

Narrador: Después de aquella tarde, Matilda se queda pensativa y decide prepararle una sorpresa a Josué.

(Matilda llama por teléfono a los hijos de Josué)

Matilda: ¡Hola!, ¿hablo con la familia Sánchez Montilla?

Martha: Sí, ¿quién habla?

Matilda: Hablo del centro hospitalario asilo para ancianos “Casa de Jesús”.

Martha: Ajá, dígame, ¿pasó algo?

Matilda: Es que queremos decirle que su padre está pasando por una situación muy difícil, y requerimos de la presencia de toda la familia.

Martha: ¡Oh por Dios!, ¡vamos para allá!

Narrador: Ante tales palabras, la familia de Josué  solo podía pensar que se trataba de su estado de salud, y deciden comprarle una bellas rosas y contratar mariachis, a fin de hacer de sus últimos momentos un instante inolvidable.

Acto IV

(Llegada de la familia Sánchez Montilla al asilo)

Matilda: ¡Hola! Bienvenidos.

Martha: ¡Hola! venimos a ver a nuestro padre, nos dijeron que estaba pasando por una situación difícil, y queremos despedirnos de él.

Matilda: Su padre no está muriendo, pero si está muy mal del corazón.

Martha: ¿Es muy grave?

Matilde: Les explico, el problema de su papá va más allá de lo físico.

(Los tres hijos inmediatamente colocan un gesto de tristeza en su rostro)

Martha: ¡Por favor, llévanos a verlo!

Matilda: Está bien, pero antes debo decirles algo: Su padre no está aquí.

Martha: ¡Que!, pero nos dijiste que estaba vivo.

(La familia Sánchez Montilla coloca cara de asombro)

Matilda: Tranquilos su padre está bien, lleno de mucha salud gracias a Dios, justo ahora está con la señora Juana en la cocina tomando el cafecito de la tarde.

Martha: Que susto nos diste, pero ¿por qué nos mentiste?

Matilda: A veces nosotros no aprovechamos ni valoramos a quién tenemos a nuestro lado, mas cuando perdemos a ese ser querido nos lamentamos por no haber compartido con él lo suficiente. Ahora yo les insto a todos que amen a su padre y compartan con él todos los días, como si fuera el último de su vida.

Narrador: Al escuchar detenidamente todas estas fuertes pero verdaderas palabras, la familia Sánchez Montilla se queda perpleja reconociendo a su vez la sabiduría expresada.

Martha: ¡Tienes toda la razón!, y muchas gracias por quitarnos las vendas de nuestros ojos, a causa de los inevitables afanes de la vida.

(Todos se miran e inclinan su cabeza abajo)

Matilda: No se preocupen, ¡Ahora es el tiempo perfecto de vivir! ¡Josué! te buscan…

Josué: ¡Voy!

Narrador: Ante tan conmovedor momento, Josué cae de rodillas en llanto agradeciéndole a Dios Todopoderoso por la gran dicha de ver a su familia reunida nuevamente.

(La familia Sánchez Montilla se abraza)

Matilda: (mensaje al público) Estimados, después de lo visto y representado, los invito ahora a disfrutar del tesoro más preciado que Dios les ha dado, y que siempre será una perla irremplazable que les alumbrará y apoyará en todo su camino: “la familia”.

(Todos los actores se unen y realizan la avenía de gracias).
